Google fixes Bluetooth issue on Pixel devices

A number of  Google Pixel  (and  Pixel XL ) users have been experiencing a Bluetooth problem that randomly caused the radio to turn off without warning, causing accessories to disconnect and proved to be most annoying while streaming music to an external speaker. Thankfully Google is issuing a fix and it will reach affected users via a Google Play Services Update. The problem first appeared around the time of Google’s release of the February Security Patch. Even the March Security Patch did not rectify the Bluetooth issue. Finally today, a fellow Googler posted in the  product forum  relevant to the issue that Google was pushing a server-side fix for the problem at hand. As mentioned, a Google Play Services update will gradually roll out over the next several days, so no further action will be needed from those affected as Google Play Updates happen seamlessly in the background. Are you one of these Pixel owners? Let us know how much the problem affected your Pixel

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro preview

Introduction Samsung popularized the big screen smartphone back in 2011 with the launch of the Galaxy Note. Back then, the phone was considered freakishly large and was laughed off for being too big to be successful. Fast forward six years and now every smartphone being launched has a screen over 5.0-inch in size, with 5.5-inch quickly becoming a popular option. In contrast, the original Galaxy Note had a display that measured only 5.3-inch in size. And with big screen phones growing in popularity today, going even bigger seemed a logical path to take. Enter the 6.0+ inch phones. Samsung is surely no stranger to this category - but it seems phones like the Galaxy Mega 6.3 came too early to a market that wasn't quite ready for it. Today, however, 6.0-inch phones suddenly don't seem all that big so this might be the perfect time to jump back into this segment and try your hand at it. And so we have the Galaxy C9 Pro. Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) review

A Samsung for every taste - that seems to be the main mantra of the Korean giant as of late, as evident by its sprawling and ever-expanding smartphone lineup. We guess it's always good to have more options, but we just can't shake the feeling that some of Samsung's recent creations are beginning to overlap and tread in each other's territory - at least from the global perspective we have. Here's what we mean - the Galaxy A line and the Galaxy C line are way too close specs-wise to clearly distinguish them from a consumer point of view. The Galaxy A7 (2017) packs a 5.7-inch display, an efficient 14nm Exynos 7880 Octa SoC, a body made out of a glass/metal combo, IP68 certification, 16MP f/1.9 cameras front and back. Offerings like the  Galaxy C7  and its  C7 Pro  sibling come pretty close to the Galaxy A7 formula and the 6-inch  C9 Pro  takes things even further size-wise.
