Tata Sky launches India’s First 4K Set top box After Tata Sky revealing its plans to bring 4K streaming to our TV’s way back in July 2014, it has finally launched India’s first 4K set top box. The launch is intentionally timed right before the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, so that fans could enjoy their favorite sport in 4K quality. The new 4K set top box can stream content in 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD), with Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 Surround Sound. 4K is actually four times the pixels (resolution of 3840×2160)than the current standard of HD (1920×1080) streaming, this not only gives the viewers better clarity but also more vivid colours. There is an option also to stream Standard Definition (SD) and High Definition (HD) channels as well. and its taken as a default that you need a 4K TV to view 4K. The Xiaomi Mi Note and Note pro – iPhone Killer? Xiaomi’s latest offering is out and looks pretty promising, the Mi Note, which aims to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. The event, which took place in Beijing, saw constant comparisons between the Mi Note to the iPhone 6 Plus. Display : The Mi Note features a 5.7-inch screen – slightly larger than the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. It’s a full HD display with a pixel density of 386ppi.  The Mi Note’s display features a Nela Tech LCD , which Xiaomi claims offers a higher contrast and dynamic pixel adjustment for better readability outdoors and improves contrast of darker areas in photos. Xiaomi also claims it has improved the colour reproduction from the Mi 4. The display is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
