How to Give Unique Metadata to a Blogger Post

Getting your business blog noticed gets easier when you learn how to help people find it. Google search results contain descriptions below them. People reviewing the results decide whether to click a search result based on many factors, including the text that appears in the description. You can control the text that appears when someone sees a search result about your Blogger blog by adding unique metadata descriptions to your Blogger posts.
1. Visit your Blogger homepage and click the "More Options" arrow next to the blog you'd like to update. The "More Options" arrow appears on the page's right side next to the "View Blog" button.
2. Click "Settings" and find the "Search Preferences" link on the page's left side. Click that link to view your search preferences. You'll see a Meta Tags section near the top of the page.
3. Click the "Edit" link in that section and then click the "Yes" radio button that appears next to "Enable Search Description." A text box opens.
4. Type a meaningful description that describes your blog in the text box and click "Save Changes."
5. Click the “New Post” button on the page’s left side to open the Create Post window. Type a short post in the editing box and move to the vertical toolbar on the page’s right side.
6. Click the toolbar’s “Search Description” button to display a text box. Type a description that describes your post in that text box and click “Done.” Click “Publish” to publish the post. Blogger will include
