Xiaomi Mi MIX Launched: Price, Specifications, Release Date, and More Xiaomi at its Beijing event on Tuesday launched the Mi MIX concept smartphone, a limited edition handset made in collaboration with French designer Philippe Stark. To recall, the company also  launched  the  Mi Note 2 . The smartphone is up for pre-order now,  and will become available to buy from November 4. It is available in two variants  – 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 34,500), and 6GB RAM/ 256GB storage (plus 18k gold trim on the rear camera and fingerprint sensor, as seen below) at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 39,500). The highlight of the  Xiaomi Mi MIX  is its near bezel-less display with curved edges on top,  and the company is touting a 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. Huawei Mate 9 Pro to come with dual-curved screen, 4X optical zoom S martphone makers have been trying to curve their displays just the way Samsung did first. Xiaomi has already confirmed that its upcoming Mi Note 2 is coming with a dual-curved display and now leaks are suggesting Huawei's Mate 9 Pro will also have a curved display on both sides. The Mate 9 Pro is the sibling of Huawei Mate 9 which is slated to launch on November 3. The famous leakster, Evan Blass, recently posted renders of the Mate 9 Pro  on VentureBeat. According to the report, the Mate 9 Pro, codenamed Long Island, features a 5.9-inch QHD display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution. The display sports curves on both sides of the display, the phone looks very much Samsung's ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 smartphones. Google Pixel, Pixel XL to go on sale in India from October 25 Google's Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones will go on sale starting October 25 in offline as well online portals. "The future is exciting. And by future we mean 3 days from now. #Pixel will start reaching stores on 25th October #madebygoogle," the official Google account tweeted on Saturday. While announcing the launch of the smartphones in San Francisco earlier this month, Google had revealed that India will be amongst the first six countries to receive the new devices by the end of October. Xiaomi sold 1 million handsets in India in 18 days: Chinese media Chinese cellphone maker Xiaomi has sold a record one million smartphones in India in 18 days during the Diwali festive season, despite boycott calls of Chinese goods in the country, state media reported on Thursday. The Beijing-based company now aims at becoming largest smartphone vendor in India, the world's fastest growing handset market, in the next three to five years, said Lei Jun, founder and CEO of Xiaomi. Lei, in an internal letter yesterday, announced that the company has sold one million smartphones in the first 18 days of this month in India, state-run China Daily reported.
